Description

The Manta Mae captures the spirit of Indonesia and offers a unique opportunity to experience its beauty

For centuries, native people have sailed from South Sulawesi across the shallow seas of the Indonesian Archipelago. The great age of sail, which ended in the West in the early twentieth century, never quite ended in Indonesia.

Divers & Snorkelers can enjoy the best that Indonesia has to offer. Mola Mola & Manta Ray encounters in Komodo, pristine dive sites in Raja Ampat, there’s something for everyone. On top of that there are fantastic land-based activities, such as hiking in Rinca to see the world famous flesh eating Komodo Dragons, kayaking through Mangroves or enjoying beach BBQ’s at sunset on remote Indonesian Islands.

KLM Manta Mae is a gorgeous Phinisi boat style - "Sailing on Phinisi yacht charter is like a travel in time: a return to the classical style, giving one a feeling of real adventure".

Manta Mae has been designed and decorated using natural materials. All-wooden hull design and super structure, interior with unique mosaic panels created from materials found on the beach such as corals and shells from Indonesia, combined with fossil woods, labradorite (the power stone of magic) and quartz imported from Madagascar.

Manta Mae is a beautiful 4 cabin Phinisi Schooner that ensure the most exclusive experience whilst cruising around the Indonesian seas. Launched in 2014 and catering to a maximum of 10 or 11 guests, the Manta Mae Indonesia offers a personalised service, focussing on creating unique experiences and lifelong memories. The boat offers various amenities : TV screen in the lounge and in each cabin, Water Skiing, Jet Ski, Sea Scooters and Kayaks.

The Manta Mae Phinisi offers plenty of space for relaxation, both indoors and outside

On the large Main deck is the Indoor Salon with air conditioning, comfortable Lounge area and Bar with fridge, ice maker, plasma TV and Apple computer. For those that wish to soak up the sun and stunning Indonesian scenery the Main Deck also offers space for sun-bathing and has a large seating and lounge area, a great place to relax is in the shade of Manta Mae’s huge sails and enjoy the beautiful scenery. In between diving and shore activities, it’s the favorite lounging area.

Freshly prepared meals can be served al-fresco at the outdoor dining table.

The Upper Deck in front of the wheelhouse, provides more space for sun bathing, reading, massages or to take a nap in the hammocks or on the sun loungers in-between dives. The natural beauty and white sand beaches that surround you are an invitation to relax and recharge your batteries with yoga, meditation and massage.
The Manta Mae has one Master, two Deluxe Cabins and 1 Luxury Bunk Bed Cabin, The large Master Cabin has a king-size bed and an additional single, the two Deluxe Cabins have a queen size bed and one single and the Luxury Bunk bed has 2 bunk beds. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, AC, TV’s and safety boxes.

A large stern platform has convenient storage for dive tanks and equipment, the Diving Deck is big and spacious perfect for small diving group, there are also Jet Skis, Kayaks and 2 RIB tenders.

KLM Manta Mae takes care of the your food with style

Another important feature of Manta Mae is the attention to food quality. There’s nothing like the sea to sharpen appetites on board. Our Chef prepares meals combining Indonesian and Western food served with table service. Snacks and fresh juices are served during the day. Food special requests like Vegetarian, Gluten free and any special request can be arranged.

Relax with a massage sailing through calm seas.

At your request, an experienced Balinese therapist will be available to give you an hour’s massage – it’s a wonderful way to relax after an exhilarating dive, and the lull of the boat and sound of waves lapping against the hull intensify the relaxation
