Having searched the world for the healthiest reefs, the team of the Pelagian yacht have found the most beautiful corals right at home in the Wakatobi region. So, they have settled on Wakatobi Dive Resort as a base from which they can access remote and pristine dive sites.
The Pelagian was built at the Batservice Verft A/S Shipyard in Mandal, Norway. Her construction was to Lloyd's +100A1 yacht and +LMC classification; built to travel the world's oceans in comfort and safety. Pelagian cruises at 9 knots and she has a range of over 8,000 nautical miles! Onboard water-makers and over 20 tons of fresh water in the tanks mean that you will not need to worry about having an extra shower or rinsing the cameras one more time!
The team of highly-trained Balinese chefs prepare delicious, healthy meals using fresh produce. Enjoy fresh tuna sashimi, soups, barbecued fish, fresh fruits, steaks and oriental specialties. Be sure to save space for one of the decadent desserts made fresh every day by the pastry chef. Meals are generally served buffet style in the dining area. There is a beach barbeque or two during the trip. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know in advance. In the lounge, there will be complimentary instant coffee, black tea and cookies around the clock.
