WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
The Samambaia is 131 feet (40m) long and carries 18 experienced and accommodating crew members who speak English, French, German, Indonesian and Italian. Up to 14 guests will be taken aboard this exquisite and roomy vessel. MV Samambaia offers 4 double and 2 twin cabins below deck and 1 master cabin on deck. Attention to detail in the crafting process is reflected throughout all the cabins equipped with individual air conditioning. All bathrooms offer a rain shower head paired with a hand shower, Western-standard non-marine toilet with integrated bidet and a washbasin carved out of fossil wood. Our on board watermakers ensure an ample supply of freshwater. The Master cabin, located on the Afterdeck, with its large windows has a breath taking 180° view. A special coating on the glass ensures privacy. Local wooden handicrafts and batik pillows complete the ambiance.
Guests on Samambaia have many options for leisure time activities
Guests may relax in the main air conditioned Lounge with the TV, CD / DVD entertainment center, listen to music or watch a movie. Celebrate freedom, wind blowing in the sails, Dolphins playing at the bow, sun setting on the horizon and reaching far away destinations. While enjoying the fabulous archipelago vistas, guests may work on their tan on the Sun Deck or nap on the comfy padded lounge chairs on the covered sun deck. Hang out at the Bar with your dive partner and recap the highlights of the day’s dive or pamper yourself with a massage.
The land excursions to explore the exotic islands and unique wildlife will complete the dive safari vacation. For those that prefer more activity, they can try their hand at fishing or spend some time snorkeling to further enrich their views of the incredible underwater scenery. Depending on the itinerary there is limited access to a mobile phone signal, from time to time there a weak internet signal as well. When reception is available we offer free WiFi for our guests. For emergency communication we carry a satellite phone.
The crew ensures that divers are well fed as they know that divers require plenty of outstanding food to fuel their action packed diving
Guests will have access to a mouth watering buffet in the Dining Area of the main saloon that includes plenty of variety and Chef prepared delicacies as well as buffet style options. The freshly prepared menus will feature Western (with plenty of Italian influence with the use of Olive Oil & Parmesan) and Indonesian culinary delights. Hungry guests can enjoy freshly prepared meals and snacks throughout the day. The amount and variety of food will be sure to satisfy even the largest of appetites.
