t is a pleasure to welcome you aboard Rocio del Mar. We are as excited as you are to embark on this adventure. We look forward to sharing the Archipiélago de Revillagigedo (Socorro) with you and giving you many opportunities to relax and have fun. So that we may give you the best experience possible, we have implemented some protocols to lessen the possibility of infection during this time of COVID-19. We ask for your help in making this trip safer for you, the other guests, and our crew. We do not require our guests to get COVID-19 tests before travel. Our crew receives a COVID-19 test following each trip. AT THE MARINA: Crew members will meet you at the marina beginning at 5 pm. We are there to handle your luggage, so please let us help you. The crew will disinfect your luggage before bringing it on board. To make this process more efficient and improve your experience, please show our crew your bags and let us know where you would like us to take them. For example, let us know if your bag is to go to the dive deck, camera table, or your room. Before boarding the boat, a divemaster will take your temperature, do a brief examination, and ask you a few short questions. This process is to ensure the health and safety of everyone. If you answer YES to any of the questions, you will not be allowed to board until you have a medical evaluation. We hope you understand that this is a complicated situation for both of us, and the very last thing we want is for you to have a negative experience. If you are concerned that this could happen to you, we suggest you consider travel/trip interruption insurance or travel medical insurance. Be sure to check with your insurer for coronavirus coverage. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. We intend to do everything possible to ensure everyone's safety and have regulations from local and federal authorities that we must meet. UPON BOARDING: We recommend that you go to your room and wash your hands. After that, you are free to begin to relax. We ask that you avoid the dive deck and camera table until everyone is on board. We ask that facemasks be worn by all guests when indoors. We have facemasks for guests who need them. Facemasks are optional outdoors and on pangas. Our crew will wear facemasks when in the interior areas of the boat. They will not be required to wear facemasks outside. Once all the passengers have arrived, one of the Divemasters will announce the schedule for dinner (in the dining room) and the welcome briefing (exterior patio area on the second deck). EACH DAY: We will maintain a temperature record for all guests and crew, kept in the Captain's Log. Temperatures will be taken twice a day by one of our divemasters. One of our divemasters will speak with each guest daily for possible symptoms or health changes. This will also be kept in the Captain's Log. We ask you to be honest and tell us if there have been any changes that could compromise your health or others. Remember that it is our goal to keep all our guests and crew as safe as possible. Therefore, if you feel any of the following symptoms during your trip, please inform us immediately: Headache Cough Fever Runny nose Pain in muscles or joints Irritated eyes Pain or burning throat Difficulty breathing It is important to note that other factors could cause some symptoms. We remind all divers to stay well hydrated to avoid headaches, eat healthily, and avoid excessive alcohol use, especially if you are going to dive. There are multiple garbage containers throughout the ship, and ask that you use these when you finish using napkins, tissues, canned soft drinks, beers, and snacks. We want to keep our areas as clean as possible. If you have any questions or concerns during your trip, please contact one of our divemasters, who will be happy to guide you in what options are available to keep you and others safe. MEALS: We will have two seatings for all meals. Please wash your hands in your room before entering the dining room and bring a facemask or handkerchief if you feel you may cough or sneeze. If any guest shows symptoms, they will not be able to access the dining room, and we will take their meal to their room. EVACUATION PLAN IN CASE OF A SUSPECTED CASE OF COVID-19: If any passenger presents symptoms such as a fever higher than 100.4F/38C, a cough, runny nose, pain or burning throat, or respiratory distress, they must immediately inform one of the Divemasters or Captain. The guest will be restricted to their cabin, and we will bring meals to the room. Facemasks will be mandatory as a preventive measure when receiving a meal. The roommate* will move to the TV room, and that will be their new room under the circumstances. Dependent upon when this happens during the trip and the severity of the symptoms, the Captain will determine the best course of action, an evacuation, or end the trip early and return to San Jose del Cabo. Once this is determined, a general announcement will be made to all guests. This announcement will state that a guest has presented some symptoms and the next steps. Should an evacuation be deemed best, the evacuation will occur on Socorro Island or San Jose Del Cabo, where we will have a better medical evaluation. Based on the medical assessment, a decision will be made about whether the guest will return home or stay a few days at a place of their preference. The guest will absorb these costs. This is an additional reason why we highly recommend that you review your travel/medical insurance for coronavirus coverage should this occur. The guest's room with a suspected case of COVID-19 will be quarantined until arrival in port, where it will be thoroughly disinfected. No one can enter during this time. Once the evacuation is complete, the boat will depart and continue with the rest of its itinerary. The guests and crew will continue to be monitored. If anyone else presents similar symptoms, we will need to immediately end the trip and return to San Jose del Cabo. * ROOMATE The roommate will take their items with disinfection wipes to the TV room where that will be their new room until the end of the trip. This room will be for the exclusive use of this guest. Given the circumstances, the guest will have access to the diving platform's outdoor showers, where we have hot water. The bathroom on the dive deck will be for their exclusive use.

The vessel is 110 feet in length and the beam is 25 feet and can accommodate 20 Divers. There are 10 cabins, 2 Cabins with Double beds and a Twin bunk; 2 Cabins with Double beds and 6 Cabins with 2 separate Twin beds. All cabins have air conditioning, a private bathroom and shower. Each cabin is carpeted and air conditioned. There are room length windows with privacy curtains and convenient gear and clothes storage drawers beneath the beds. We recommend any private valuables be safely stored in the boat’s secure vault.

There is plenty of space to relax during the surface intervals, including a Salon, covered sitting area and a covered Sun Deck. The spacious Dining Area is in the lower forward part of the boat to minimize any sense of movement during meals. We will carefully select anchorages to minimize any wave action on the 200 ton stiff steel vessel while anchored for the night. Oversize engines designed to operate at low working loads with high efficiency, producing less engine noise and vibration at normal cruising speed. Deep V hull design and wave breaking bow knuckle to minimize surface wave action against the hull as the Rocio Del Mar moves forward through the sea.
