First Impressions: From the moment I stepped on board, it was clear I was in for something special. The operation was impressively well-organized, and the crew welcomed us with warmth and enthusiasm. The boat itself was in excellent condition—clean, comfortable, and clearly well-maintained. Crew: As this was my first live aboard experience, I wasn’t sure what to expect—but the crew absolutely exceeded all expectations. Their friendliness felt genuine, and they made every guest feel like part of a family. Every need was anticipated and met with kindness and efficiency. Special recognition goes to Boni and Alan, who served our meals and took care of our cabins. They ensured our orders were taken promptly, our water glasses stayed full, and our cabins remained spotless. Beds were made daily, and we received fresh bath towels during our six-day stay—a thoughtful touch that didn’t go unnoticed. Food: We were incredibly well fed! Each day the chef provided us with breakfast, lunch, and dinner with generous portions and plenty of variety. Daily specialty orders kept things interesting, and there was something for every taste. A standout favorite was the sashimi, which we all wished we could have had even more of—it was that delicious! Diving & Snorkeling Crew: The team aboard the Putra Sebayur dive boat was exceptional. The captain and crew ensured that divers had full tanks, well-prepared gear, and were assisted safely into and out of the water. Post-dive tea and cookies were a lovely touch that added to the experience. Dive instructors Amanda and Jello, along with dive masters Beni and Fandy, were highly professional and prioritized safety throughout every dive. As the only snorkeler, I was paired with Freddy, who made me feel like royalty. And “Jo Jo”, who was the driver of the small speed boat that would take Freddy and I to the snorkeling sites took very good care of me! I was treated like a Putri (Princess)—truly a VIP experience I’ll never forget! Captain: I had the pleasure of getting to know Captain Patrick and was fascinated to learn that he previously piloted massive tankers—so expertly navigating the Sea Dragon through the narrow passages and island chains of Indonesia was second nature to him. His skill and experience were evident as he seamlessly guided us from one secluded bay to the next each day. We always felt safe and in capable hands. Final Thoughts: This live aboard adventure was unforgettable. The combination of heartfelt hospitality, excellent service, and top-notch diving and snorkeling has set a very high standard for any future trips. I feel incredibly lucky to have had this experience—it will stay with me for a long time.

WOW! My husband and I have just returned from a two week vacation at Komodo resort which included a 6 day trip on the Komodo Sea dragon. Difficult to put into words how AMAZING every single aspect of our trip was but I’ll give it a go. It was a EXCEPTIONAL service experience. From the crew of the Sea Dragon to all staff at the resort the service was consistently outstanding. We were so welcomed be everyone. Alex, thank you for everything. You have the best office in the world 😊 To the staff of the Sea Dragon we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Jello (Cruise director) you are a legend. We miss you 😍. You made it so much fun. We had the time of our lives. To our dive master Roni - we SO had the best group didn’t we 😉😘 . Your professionalism , focus on safety , ability to spot the tiniest of nudibranch and underwater skills helped us enjoy every single dive with you. We miss you too 🥰. To Capitano Patrick, always smiling and the most skilled captain. We are very grateful. The entire crew were genuinely friendly and always happy. And of course the priority with diving is safety and Jello made that clear on all briefings and chats. We felt totally safe. Komodo can have strong and challenging currents and so safety was paramount on every single dive. It was re assuring to be in the hands of experienced professionals. The coral and diversity of marine life at dive sites and the reef surrounding the Komodo resort island of Sebayur Besar was second to none. Highlights of our dives with regards to marine life were Cuttlefish, white tip sharks, black tip sharks , many Manta madness it was insane, octopus, Pygmy seahorse, bamboo sharks, eagle rays, blue dragon nudibranch, giant frog fish, peacock mantis shrimp, orangutan crab, barracuda - to be honest the list is endless we saw so much. Every time we entered the water was an adventure and a privilege. The Sea Dragon is a majestic vessel.. Our rooms were spacious, air conditioned, very comfortable and kept spotlessly clean. The same was true for our Island accommodation. Spacious, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and with a beautiful view. To Julian, the owner - your passion for diving, service, happiness of guests and safety is clear and it was a pleasure to meet you, your wife and your eldest son Noel - the coolest diver ever. Thank you Noel for some stunning dives at ‘The Cauldron and Shotgun’. Thank you also to Debrito for the dives on our last day. To Hengky, extremely experienced and professional dive master at the resort (and fellow LFC supporter ⚽️) we thank you for some memorable Manta dives and spotting the Bamboo sharks on request 🤣. There is an LFC gift winging its way to you as a thank you. Hope you love it. I cannot emphasise enough how exceptional, heartfelt and genuine the service was. WE ARE NOT DIVERS, and still had the most amazing time! Peaceful beyond words, snorkeling off your private deck. Service 5 stars, and the owner and the owner Julian along with all the staff, made us feel welcome. If you’re heading this way and can afford it — stay here!

THE BEST RESORT EVER, specially for divers, but not only for divers. This resort is one of the best organized resorts I ever met.....and I saw hundreds of then around the world. Let me give a few examples: 1.We were here now for 5 days - 2 couples - that have seen the entire world during our world circumnavigations. Our wives want to snorkel on the reef directly in front of the resort. They wanted to step in the water, when the owner who was sitting and talking with us on the seaside bar saw it and organized spontaneously a staff member, to bring them with a tender boat to the best spot on the HOUSE REEF and to stay with the boat in the water to be available for any help needed, due to the currants in the water. 2. We were welcomed as if we were meeting our best friends after years again by the whole staff, the front desk manager Herry and also by the owners. 3.the food is really excellent and the staff incredibly well trained, we felt really at home, because everybody was really 100% dedicated to give us the best holiday experience possible. After 4 days in the resort, the owner came around to our dinner table and offered us some drinks and suggested to organize for us exclusively fresh grouper and lobster from the daily fishermen's market ( 8 miles away ) - - - this was not a 4-Star-Service , this is almost Burj-al-Arab level....... 4. We had a fantastic dive tour with all you want to see: White tip reef shark, turtles, moray eel, fantastic coral gardens and to top everything:flying mantas in the currants of manta point dive ground. 5. Of corse you can also go from here to the Komodo islands to see the famous Komodo Dragons .......or just relax on the cosy sand beach in front of the resort. To say it in short words: THIS RESORT IS REALLY WORTH COMING TO INDONESIA !!!!!! Thanks to you all of the staff and the owners....as Arnold Schwarzenegger would say: I´LL BE BACK !!!!!

The trip was absolutely unforgettable! We spent seven incredible days aboard the boat, diving into crystal-clear waters, hiking to breathtaking viewpoints, and enjoying the wonders of the islands in Indonesia... 1. Diving and cruise design Jello, the Cruise Director, was the heart and soul of the trip. His enthusiasm, knowledge of the area, and attention to detail made the whole experience feel seamless. He was always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and ensure everyone enjoyed the trip. By the way, the diving was spectacular! The waters around Komodo are teeming with vibrant coral reefs, colorful fish, and also manta ray or reef shark. The dive instructors were professional and patient, making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable, whether you were a beginner or experienced diver. Jello is my dive guide. He is always patient and considerate, protecting us from the strong current under water. Each dive felt like stepping into an underwater wonderland. I really enjoyed it. 2. Food The food onboard was nice! Every meal was freshly prepared, with a variety of dishes that catered to different tastes. The chefs did an excellent job of keeping things interesting and delicious. 3. Cabins The cabins were cozy and comfortable, and the rooms were kept clean throughout our stay. We had plenty of space to relax and unwind, with windows offering scenic views of the sea and surrounding islands. 4. Crew The crew was incredibly friendly and professional. Bonne, Max ...everyone was attentive and went out of their way to make the trip enjoyable. They were always ready to lend a hand and made sure everything ran smoothly, from dive preparations to meals. Everything about the trip was perfect. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the magic of Komodo!
