The Ventotene Diving Academy was founded in 2000 by Antonio Santomauro and Salvatore Matrone, two friends and experienced divers originally from the island.
Here you’ll find both friendliness and professionalism — but above all, a way to dive into pure fun.
Today, the center proudly holds the status of a PADI 5 Star IDC, operating within the Protected Marine Area of Ventotene and S. Stefano, offering daily excursions to explore the most beautiful dive sites around the two islands.
PADI courses available at all levels.
Agriturismo Parata Grande is a countryside retreat surrounded by lush greenery within a natural reserve.
Just a five-minute walk from the arrival port, it offers a peaceful atmosphere, attentive service, and Mediterranean cuisine prepared with homegrown ingredients. Open year-round, it offers a relaxing stay in close contact with the island’s unique nature. While Parata Grande beach is unfortunately closed to the public, Cala Nave and Cala Rossano are easily reachable on foot in just a few minutes.
The associated diving center, Ventotene Diving Academy, is a PADI 5 Star IDC Center operating within the Marine Protected Area of Ventotene and S. Stefano. It offers daily dive trips to the area’s top dive sites and provides PADI courses at all levels.
