Cabo Private Guide evolved out of a desire to provide a personal and exclusive service to those who want to escape the crowd in busy Cabo San Lucas and explore Baja California Sur on an affordable private basis. We provide AFFORDABLE private dive guides for all individuals/couples/groups so that you can focus on enjoying your dive. We provide AFFORDABLE private instructors for all course. Maybe you're a photographer looking for a particular animal? Or an early-bird diver wanting to arrive at the dive site before everybody else? You probably want to dive according to your air consumption and not be restricted to the abilities of others? Our dive guides have a minimum of 6 month's dive pro experience in Baja California Sur. Our instructors have a minimum 25 certifications each, however the current staff have much, much more! Female owner, bilingual guides.

What to expect

Enjoy diving where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez! Check into the dive shop for the morning session at 7.30am. You will meet your guide and fit equipment before going to the dive boat (about an 8 minute walk along the scenic marina). Your guide will help you set up your equipment and weights and the journey out to the dive site is only 15 - 30 minutes. You and your guide will decide on which part of the reef suits your experience - regardless of who else is sharing the boat with their own guide. If you need a refresher simply ask! We offer them for free to make sure everyone signs up if they need one. two dive sites will be elected in the 4 hour session with ample surface interval time.  In the Corridor, the diving highlights are the photogenic Sandfalls, the sea lion colony above a ship wreck, huge numbers of rays, eels, and large schools of fish. If you don't carry an underwater camera, ask us for a Go Pro! NOTE: We do need a minimum of 2 divers to run this tour.

Meet at the dive center

We are located in Plaza Nautica which is the big pink plaza next to the Tesoro Hotel in front of Diamonds International. There is parking in the car park next to the Casino ($35 pesos an hour), or free parking a few blocks back on any white curb. The easiest way to find us is to walk to Cabo Cantina bar (not Baja Cantina) on the main road out front. Go past the bar to the Plaza Nautica Reception and then look left. You will see our signage outside under the shady tree If coming from the marina, the dive shop is located in Plaza Nautica behind DOCK J. From the marina you can cut up past the Repsol IGY marina fuel dock office or Agua Salada bar towards the main road. Enter the Plaza and when you see the reception office the dive shop is across the courtyard.
