Wow, can you believe it? We've been making waves in the stunning Red Sea paradise of Egypt for more than four decades! It all started back in 1992 when the incredible Mr. Freddy Storheil, a thrill-seeking Norwegian, opened our very first center in the mesmerizing Sharm El Sheikh. Wait for it... the name "Colona" actually comes from Freddy's first boat, where he embarked on thrilling liveaboard adventures in the Red Sea since 1977! Talk about diving history!

But the excitement didn't stop there. In 1999, we spread our fins and opened our second center in the vibrant Hurghada. The response was so overwhelmingly positive that we just had to keep the good times rolling. In 2001, we proudly unveiled our third center in the picturesque El Gouna. And to top it all off, in 2010, we dove headfirst into the enchanting Marsa Alam, opening our fourth and final center.

Now, hold your breath because this is where the magic happens. At the heart of it all, our main operating hub, the incredible Hurghada Colona Dive Center, serves as our base camp for unforgettable underwater adventures. And guess what? We've got some seriously exciting news! Since the start of 2023, we've become a certified PADI Instructor Diving Center (IDC), ensuring that we provide nothing short of exceptional diving experiences for divers from all corners of the globe.
