Akomo Isseki is a 27 meter Phinisi sailing Raja Ampat, Ambon, Banda Sea and Komodo.
The vessel was built by the Konjo builders of South Sulawesi with two teak masts and a ketch cutter sailing ring. It was launched in 2018 and is crewed by the Bugi sailors from Bira in South Sulawesi. The vessel was hand crafted on the beaches of Tanah Beru using tropical hardwoods from the forest of Kendari. The cabins are crafted from kendoli and teak, boast large beds and are naturally vented.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Akomo Isseki boasts 4 twin cabins with shared bathroom facilities, modern bathroom appliances and traditional handicrafts. Amenities include a wardrobe, computer/gadget desk, portholes and fan. There is also a communal dining area, covered dive deck and a large comfortable sun lounging area where you can enjoy cold beers and incredible sunsets.
Enjoy a variety of freshly-cooked Indonesian and western meals. Think freshly-caught fish, beach BBQs, home-baked bread and cakes, hot coffee and treats. Beers and sodas are available for an extra charge. Please advise of any special dietary requirements upon booking, the crew will happily cater for vegetarian and vegan passengers.
