The Ambai is an amazing diving vessel in all aspects, guests will be pampered by the 16 welcoming English, Indonesian and Spanish speaking crew members. Outstanding service is provided for the 16 guests in the 8 roomy and quaintly decorated wood-trimmed cabins. Every Stateroom has a Double occupancy capacity, individual air conditioning and private bathrooms with hot water showers. Two of these cabins can be found on the Upper Deck and feature Double beds and picture windows. The remaining six are located on the Lower deck and boast either a double bed with an upper twin bunk or two single beds. Guests will forget they are on a boat with the convenient daily housekeeping and laundry service.
Guests aboard the liveaboard Ambai will find relaxation and comfort on board
The air-conditioned Lounge includes a large-screen TV, DVD library and a small book exchange area. There are plenty of fish identification books and diving magazines to browse through. While enjoying the fabulous Indonesian Vistas, guests will enjoy taking a nap on the shaded Sun Deck or tanning on the cushioned lounge chairs. Really pamper yourself with a Massage after a long day of diving. There’s lots of room onboard to find your favorite place to relax in the rejuvenating atmosphere. For those looking for activity, Kayaks are also available for use during daytime hours and there is ample opportunity to go Snorkeling.
You will be treated to quite a few land-based excursions
From sunbathing on deserted beaches to shopping in remote villages, the crew of the Ambai will ensure you are busy and engaged. Other excursions may include hiking up mountains for outstanding views, searching for Komodo Dragons or Birds of Paradise and exploring dense Mangroves. A trip on the Ambai may be all about the diving, but you are sure to remember the rich culture of the area as well.
The food aboard is plentiful and varied
The affable Chef cooks up selections of Western, Indonesian, French and Italian food three times a day. All meals are served at the table. Snacks are served throughout the day. All meals can be eaten in the air-conditioned restaurant. Alternatively, guests may dine outside in the open air Lounge while breathtaking scenery passes by. The crew will be happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions if informed prior to departure. All meals, snacks, hot drinks, soft drinks and water are included in your stay. Beer is available for an additional fee.
