Explore the tropical waters of Balicasag Island on a half-day snorkeling adventure. See vibrant coral reefs, sea turtles, and tropical fish up close in one of Bohol’s top marine sanctuaries!
Please note this is primarily a Balicasag island 2 dives scuba diving trip and the snorkelers are more than welcome to tag along. Due to limitations of boat space, divers' interest and snorkeling tickets, we highly suggest you to check with us for availability before booking.
The Balicasag Island half-day snorkeling trip departs at 8:45 AM and returns around 1:30 PM. When you arrive at Sierra Madre Divers, you’ll meet your snorkeling guide, get fitted with gear, and receive a brief safety overview. Then, you’ll board the boat for a scenic ride to Balicasag Island.
At the island, divers will enter first, and you'll snorkel alongside your guide, exploring coral gardens, tropical fish, and sea turtles. Divers will do 2 dives with minimum 1hr surface interval in between. Your guide will coordinate with the dive schedule to take you to different snorkeling spots around the island.
Coffee, tea, water, and light snacks are provided on board. You can bring your own lunch or pre-order a lunch box for an extra charge.
We’re located right on Alona beach between Jasz restaurant and Hayahay resort. You can go down Alona beach road from McDonald’s to the end (drop off/pick up area), turn left and walk along the beach for about 100m you will see Sierra Madre Divers on your left.
